It was a mistake to choose the new Michelin (type TDE). A softer compound should be more appropriate for the two stages.

He is not so happy with his performance. He cant find the right pace.

Team director Malcolm Wilson confirmed that Märtin would re-start tomorrow morning under the new 'Superally' system being trialled for the first time on this rally, which allows retired cars to start subsequent legs. As the system is currently being used only as an experiment, neither Märtin nor Ford will be eligible for points and will not be classified in the event.

Oleks tore kui Markko jätkaks. Saaks korra sõita täiega ja ilma muretsemata selle eest, et auto tuleb tingimata punktidele tuua.
Ehk saab nõnda üle alalhoidlikkusest, mis vahepeal tal on kujunenud - tõstaks eneseusku ja võitlusvalmidust.
Hädasti oleks vaja, et Markko veenduks, et ta igast asendist on võimeline kõige kiiremini sõitma, kuidagi väheks on neid katsevõitusidki jäänud.
Või siis Carlos teab muidugi adekvaatsemalt arvata rallisõitjate psühholoogiast ...

Selle infi kohaselt siis Markko ikkagi jätkab homme.
