5 GRONHOLM-RAUTIAINEN
Complained of an unspecified clutch problem.
4 SAINZ-MARTI
The left rear tyre has no tread and the driver says he has no more spares.
8 DUVAL-PREVOT
Their retirement in SS1 (See Flash 1) was a result of sheared wheel studs.
9 PANIZZI-PANIZZI
Changed the front valance at Service. Gilles said, The car is okay apart from the suspension. The problem is a combination of tough conditions, insufficient testing yesterday at Shakedown and the fact that they are still waiting for parts from overseas. He hopes to see some improvement on the second loop of stages.

Üks katse veel sõita ja Bossel sidur jamab. Solku kahjuks totaalselt mängust väljas. A Loeb võttis kuidagi palju tagasi viimase katsega.

Huvitav, mis tempoga Markko siis homme küll sõitma hakkab, kui tal viimastel katsetel esinesid sellised probleemid: 
Martin achieved this in spite of having problems with the diffs, probably due to an hydraulic malfunction, throughout the last three stages. Then the power steering failed on the way into service at Limassol. "I couldn't believe my luck; normally it's the other way round - just as we are leaving service," said the Estonian star. "The diffs were not locking so there has been a lot of wheelspin. I was driving with the diffs locked on the last one."

Muide Soome TV-le antud intervjuus oli Grönholmil päris lõbus tuju. Nimelt ütles ta, et kui viimastel katsetel sidur ära kadus siis oli nalja kui palju, eriti ülesõitudel. Inimesed ei tahtnud aru saada, et ta ei tohi seisma jääda, eriti valgusfooride juures ja nii ta sõitis üle kõnniteede ja kõige muu mis ette jäi
