2013 Driver Lineup.
CITROEN ABU DHABI
1. Hirvonen
2. Loeb/Neuville
Al Qassimi
FORD
3. Latvala
4. Solberg/Ostberg
Malcolm could be tempted by Mads if he continues to get good results. Petter could well be poached by Hyundai to develop the car, as they would be looking to get someone with experience on board.
VOLKSWAGEN
5. Ogier
6. Mikkelson - he may have done some testing already, been close to Ogier for the year.
MINI (Maybe MINI QATAR!)
7. Sordo
8. Al Attiyah/Campana
Something different. Al Attiyah has a lot of $$ behind him, and with Citroen going Abu Dhabi, it removes Al Attiyah. Prodrive could secure Qatar as a major sponsor and nominate Campana on tarmac. Sordo could be another tempted by Hyundai if Mini aren't full time again. Atkinson and Meeke may also be in the mix, but it really depends on what they can bring to the team in sponsorship, which is why Al Attiyah may be a good idea. Also helps that their are Minis racing in Raids at the moment, so some deal could be fabricated putting Al Attiyah in one of them for some raids too, with some WRC rounds.
HYUNDAI
1. Solberg/Sordo/Ostberg - the 3 "A-List" drivers in with a shot. I'm sure Petter wouldn't mind a year out to do lots of testing and do things what he has always wanted to such as Pikes Peak (if Hyundai could borrow Millen's car). Makes you wonder who was driving it in the video release?
2. Probably not yet, though they might have their eyes on a couple, especially Atkinson/Paddon to strengthen Asia-Pacific ties.
TOYOTA:
If they are serious, they'll need to get moving, otherwise they will find it very hard to get an A-List driver. With their budget, you would only think they would target Solberg, Sordo, Hirvonen (if Loeb gets bored after a year) or Latvala.
M-SPORT
9. Tanak
10. ?
