Bologna Motorshow lõpeb täna õhtul 27 Attilio Bettega Memoriaali rallishow-ga.
Sellest võtavad osa 8 meest,muuhulgas Fiesta WRC-l JML ja Andrea Dovizioso,
Citroen DS3-l Petter ja Antonio Cairoli ja Mini WRC-l Kris Meeke ja Andreas Navarra.
Eks see oli ka üks põhjuseid,miks nii Ford kui Petter kohal on.

Petter olevat Bolognas öelnud, et see on tõesti tema viimane kord Citroenis.

A Petter Solberg World Rally Team insider has confirmed Petter's reported remarks from Bologna, where the former world champion said this (Memorial Bettega) was his last rally with Citroën.
"He took the microphone from the announcer , told everyone he'd had a great time, thanked the fans, then thanked the lads from PH Sport and said that was his last rally with Citroen."
The insider says Petter would not consider another customer drive, which would seem to suggest he would only continue if he gets a full works drive with Ford or MINI.
MINI WRC is thought to still need a major sponsor to guarantee a full 2012 season, while Ford has yet to commit.
Relations between Petter and Malcolm Wilson have been strained in the past, but the Norwegian can certainly score points, especially if he has a proper works car. If Ford do enter as a Manufacturer for 2012, it will be to win. Winning, more than anything else, is what Petter wants to do, and he, Ford and Wilson would be completely in unison on that.
A Jari-Matti/Petter line-up would be formidable..

Kümme aastat tagasi oleks Solberg kiire olnud. Hetkel on ta lihtsalt parim keda M-Sport palgata saab. Tiim keda 2012. aastal püüda on Citroen, jällegi. Ilma ühegi kahtluseta kohe.Lithium kirjutas:Latvala ja Solberg oleks küll päris kõva tiim järgmine aasta, Otil vähem pingeid ja saab rahulikult kogemusi koguda.

"On the other hand Ott is a young guy who would be good to grow for the future, like I got the chance to grow up as a young driver with Ford. Seda räägiti juba eelmise hooaja alguses, et RedBull pidavat Citroeniga lõpetama. Ma võisin ka valesti aru saada.
Aga see on küll positiivne, et Mini omale korraliku sponsori leidis.
